YOUR WEEKLY TITHES AND OFFERINGS – MISSION & OUTREACH AT WORK!: WUCC pays a portion of our overall budget to The United Methodist Church and The Presbyterian Church U.S.A. for their mission and outreach efforts (locally, nationally, and globally). Things like Africa University, camps, sending missionaries throughout the world, important work with at risk children and youth, scholarships for future church leaders, support for Christian unity around the world, meet the needs of people suffering around the world, etc. Thank you for your stewardship, and your tithes and offerings.

KATRINA EFFORTS CONTINUE: Two years later, the clean-up and aid continues. The gulf region still needs our help. If you would like to give toward Katrina, please mark “Katrina” in the memo of your check and we will make sure it gets to the UMC and Presbyterian organizations working to help Katrina victims.
KATRINA – SPECIAL CHURCH RECOVERY APPEAL: Giving to this special appeal will help churches rebuild in the gulf region and will also help with pastor’s salaries in the affected areas. FLOODING RECOVERY: Recently floods ripped through parts of Ohio, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Kansas, and Oklahoma. Both The United Methodist Church and the Presbyterian Church are on site in these areas offering assistance. EFFORTS TO AID CHILDREN IN POVERTY IN THE UNITED STATES AND WORLD: Many ministries have been developed and are being developed to help end poverty nationwide and world wide. If this is a concern of yours, please put “Advance #982200-8” in the memo of your check.

AIDS ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN IN AFRICA: By the year 2010 one-third of Africa’s children will be orphaned. Both the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. and the UMC have efforts to aid these children.
