The WUCC food pantry feeds more than 7500 people each year. We load in 1500 lbs. of donated food from the NJ Food Bank through Shoprite in Wharton every week. We are always in need of volunteers to both load in the many boxes of meat and canned goods as well as help us staff the Wednesday hours of the food pantry. Please contact the Church office if you are able to help us.
This Spring (2018) we will be expanding our food pantry to twice its current size and building a new hospitality center for all of us to figure out the human and financial assets we already have.... so that we can be the hands and feet of Love in the community of Wharton.
Help us keep our shelves stocked by donating canned and dry goods so that we may continue God’s work in our community. Donations accepted at any time in our donation box by the Grove Street side entrance of the church.
You can also make a financial donation either online, in our offering plates or at the office. Please mark your offering for Food Pantry. here to edit.

Building Bridges is a coalition of 7 churches serving this area of Morris County. WUCC is part of this. We have a clothing/blanket/winter clothing give away the first Thursday of every month at 6:00 at First UMC in Dover on the Corner of West Blackwell and Sussex Street.
