About Wharton United Community Church
Wharton United Community Church has long historic roots in both the Methodist and the Presbyterian Churches in Wharton. In 2017, we celebrated the 10th year of the merger between the United Methodist Church at St. John's and the Wharton Presbyterian Church which used to be on Main Street near Dewey Avenue. In 2018, we celebrate 150 years of Methodist presence in Wharton. We belong to both the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church (www.umc.org) and the Newton Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church in the U.S. (www.pcusa.org)
